What is IP67

IP means Ingress Protection, it is a rating given for electronic gadgets depending on how they can withstand the environment. After IP, the first number indicates the protection against solids, in this case the 6 stands for "Totally protected against dust", the highest rating.

The second number after IP stands for protection against liquids, in this case the 7 stands for "Protected even if immersed in a liquid below 1 meter", Most of the Smart Phones and Smart Watches rated IP67 can withstand immersion in water for upto 30 minutes.
